These little vegetables are made up of a compound called capsaicin which causes the burning sensation we feel after eating them. Capsaicin does not cause that burning sensation only, it improves our health in many ways.

Capsaicin is also regarded as an endorphin, our bodies produce endorphins in response to heat which it mistakes for pain, this make you feel more relieved and decreases the risk of depression.

Spicy foods also help your body to fight heart diseases this is because chili peppers produce the damaging effects of low density lipoprotein [LDL] which is a bad cholesterol. Capsaicin also fights inflammation highly risk factor for heart issues.

The vitamins found in chili peppers also help to strengthen the heart muscle walls and the heart produce by the burning sensation increases blood flow in your body.
