Make Hot Tamales At Home

Filling Of Hot Tamale
For the tamale filling, you need some pork loin, onion, a clove of garlic, water, salt, and California chile pods. To prepare the dough for the tamale, you need some baking powder, masa harina, beef broth, lard, salt, some dried corn husks, and sour cream.
The time to prepare the dish is 3 hours and 30 minutes. The pork needs to be placed in the oven having garlic and onion. You can add some water on it to cover. Then boil it and reduce the heat to low temperature.
Simmer the pork, until all the meat cooked for a few hours. You would want to be careful when removing the seeds and the stems of the chile pods. You need to place the chiles in a saucepan and cook it along with water for a few minutes.

Add the broth likewise and make them spongy. Using the corn husks now, spread the dough on them. For each corn husks, you can use some meat filling. The sides of the husks can be folded and placed inside a steamer.

Ground Beef Tamale
You can prepare a similar recipe, using ground beef, hot pepper sauce, kosher salt, chopped roasted green chili peppers, cloves of garlic, and onions. You will also need some dried corn husks, cayenne pepper, ground black pepper, yellow masa flour, lard, water, and baking powder.
For flavor and texture, you can add some chili powder and grated Chihuahua cheese. All you need to do is follow the same procedure when cooking. The only difference is that we are going to prepare a beef recipe.
