  • 28 oz. chicken wings
  • 2 Tsp. Sichuan peppercorns
  • 3 Tsp. soy sauce
  • 2 Tsp. chili flakes
  • 1 Tsp. sesame oil
  • 4 Tbsp. Korean rice wine
  • 2 Tsp. ginger & garlic paste
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp. date sugar
  • Chopped nuts for garnishing


Toss the chicken wings in baking powder and some salt. Grill the wings or put them on the oven’s wire rack and bake until done. The wings will require 50 minutes in the oven preheated to 160°C. Now toast the peppercorns and sprinkle the chili flakes. Grind these peppercorns and take the mixture in a saucepan. Stir in the rest of the ingredients except chili flakes and nuts. Cook for 12 minutes or so. Lastly, coat the wings with this mixture and bake for 5 minutes. Garnish nuts and chili flakes on the top and serve.

  • 3 Tsp. Toban Djan
  • 2 Tsp. cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. tomato puree

  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 15 oz. raw prawns
  • 2 Tbsp. canola oil
